Tending to Weeds

A good reminder to keep up on general maintenance around the yard. Weeds can become a big problem in flowerbeds and walkways. For those of you who need help combating weeds we might just have the product for you!

RoundUp Weed and Grass killer is great for taking out any unwanted living plant. It is best to apply on a clear and still day so that the product does not spread to any plants you wish to keep alive.

Apply directly to unwanted plant life. This particular formula targets a specific enzyme in plants which is not present in people or pets. This product is safe to apply in areas where people and pets frequent, once the product dries it is perfectly safe for pets or humans to come in contact with the area.

This product is okay for use around vegetable plants, patios, walkways, driveways, gravel and mulch beds, around shrubs or trees, in flowerbeds, and event along fences or other posts.

Coverage varies based upon application and undesirable vegetation. The 1.33 gallon ready-to-use weed and grass killer is estimated to cover approximately 400 square feet.

Remember that RoundUp will kill all living vegetation on contact. RoundUp is to be applied to the green foliage of the plant so it can be absorbed. If accidentally sprayed on the bark of a tree, the tree will be unaffected, unless the tree has open areas in which RoundUp can be absorbed into the tree system.

When it comes to planting it is recommended to wait one day before planting ornamental flowers, trees, and shrubs after use of the product to clear out an area. Please be mindful for grasses, vegetable and fruit plants that it is recommended to wait 3 days after use.
